The South Dakota Family Physician Newsletter is the official, now quarterly, publication of the South Dakota Academy of Family Physicians. This serves as the primary communication vehicle provide information to generate support for and report results of, those activities and policies determined by the board of directors, and general information which needs to be relayed to the members. It also has updates in regards to both the Sioux Falls and Rapid City family practice residency programs and the medical school.

We welcome submission of articles for consideration of publication on a wide variety of subjects related to the practice of family medicine that will be of interest to the general membership of the Academy. The next topic deadline for which articles will be due will be September 8, 2000.
